Actions Taken February 22-24, 2007 - Posted 3/07 |

At its February 22-24, 2007 meetings, the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education took the following actions regarding the accredited status of institutions: Following satisfactory completion of an institutional self-study process and an evaluation team visit, the accredited status of the following institutions was reaffirmed for 10 years:
Following satisfactory completion of an institutional self-study process and an evaluation team visit, the graduate unit of the following institution was granted accreditation until 2010:
Following satisfactory completion of an institutional self-study process and an evaluation team visit, the following institutions were granted initial accreditation status:
Following satisfactory completion of an institutional self-study process and an evaluation team visit, the following institution was granted candidate [pre-accredited] status:
In light of their failures to satisfactorily strengthen their compliance with ABHE Criteria for Accreditation, specifically in reference to financial stability, five institutions were placed on WARNING status. WARNING status does not constitute a public sanction. One institution was removed from WARNING status. One institution was removed from probation:
One institution's accreditation was removed. A second institution was denied initial accreditation. These decisions are subject to appeal. Once final decisions have been made, appropriate information will be distributed.
