Academic Dean Associate Professor

Position Overview: The Academic Dean is the Chief Academic Officer and reports to the Executive Vice President. The Academic Dean’s responsibilities include oversight of academic policies and programs, faculty hiring and development, and accreditation. The Dean should also be able to teach two courses a year, preferably specializing in Christian Ministry or Old Testament.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee academic programs, policies and procedures.
  • Oversee faculty, including recruiting, development, and evaluation.
  • Oversee the accreditation process with ABHE. - Teach two classes per year in an area of expertise.
Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidates for the position will have an earned doctorate, experience in academic administration and undergraduate teaching, active involvement in the life of the church, and ability to work well in a multicultural setting.
  •  Candidates who belong to Foursquare or other Pentecostal/Charismatic denominations will be shown preference, but candidates from all Evangelical backgrounds are welcome to apply.
  • PRBC faculty agree to a statement of faith and conduct.
