The Association for Biblical Higher Education Announces New Collaborative Initiative with Best Christian Workplaces Institute

Orlando, Florida - The Association for Biblical Higher Education is pleased to announce a new collaborative initiative with the Best Christian Workplaces Institute (BCWI).

ABHE Executive Director, Ralph Enlow, writes:  BCWI’s experience, expertise and commitment to biblical higher education are highly aligned with our mission, philosophy, and quality standards at ABHE.  The Best Christian Workplace Survey is an excellent assessment tool to diagnose and strengthen the organizational culture of Bible Colleges.  I say this on the basis of positive first hand experience with the Best Christian Workplaces Survey in an institutional setting.

The Association for Biblical Higher Education (www.abhe.org) is a network of nearly 200 member (accredited and candidate), applicant, and affiliate institutions across North America.  Founded in 1947, the Association celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2007 and today enjoys the largest institutional membership total in its history.  ABHE exists to enhance the quality and credibility of postsecondary educational institutions that distinctively engage students in biblical, transformational, experiential, and missional higher education.  Scores of thousands of ABHE institutions’ alumni serve on the leading edge of global Gospel witness and Kingdom work.

Dr. Enlow has strongly encouraged ABHE member institutions to consider participating in the 2009 Best Christian Workplaces Survey to be conducted October 1st through December 1st.

The Best Christian Workplaces certification is a mark of distinction for biblical higher education institutions that are well-run and are in accord with Biblical principles.  The 2009 certified ABHE member colleges will be announced by BCWI President Al Lopus at the ABHE Annual Meeting in Orlando next February.  This recognition will be of interest to prospective job applicants, potential students, parents, volunteers and donors.  The BCWI certification is an apt goal to which we encourage all Bible Colleges to aspire.  To learn more about certification scoring, please visit www.bcwinstitute.com.

Individuals or organizations who wish to view the survey questionnaire or receive more details voice to voice may contact Kathy at klopus@bwinstitute.com.
